The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
A vintage map of the city of Miami and surroundings showing 'The Greater Miami Development and The Estimated Expansion for 1935'. This detailed, historical map from the public domain was compiled and drawn by Sauer and Seghy, published in 1925 by A.C. Douglas Printing Co. This reproduction map has been restored, color corrected and has a little added texture.
